Terms of Service

The terms that govern our AI consultancy services. Plain language, no hidden surprises.

Our Services

Aigenda provides AI consultancy, automation, and strategy services for small and medium-sized businesses. This includes:

  • AI readiness assessments and strategy development
  • Workflow automation setup and implementation
  • Multi-agent AI system design and deployment
  • Ongoing AI advisory and optimisation
  • Training and knowledge transfer

The specific scope of work for each engagement will be agreed in writing before we begin.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all quick-win automation setups. Here's how it works:

  • If the automation we build doesn't save you measurable time or money within 30 days of delivery, you get a full refund
  • The guarantee applies to quick-win packages and automation setups only — not to advisory retainers or strategy engagements
  • To claim, contact us at hello@aigenda.co.uk within 30 days of delivery with a brief explanation
  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days

We stand behind our work. If it doesn't deliver value, we don't want your money.

Payment Terms

  • Quick-win packages are paid upfront before work begins
  • Larger projects may be invoiced in milestones as agreed in the project scope
  • Advisory retainers are invoiced monthly in advance
  • Invoices are due within 14 days unless otherwise agreed
  • All prices are quoted in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise

Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Intellectual Property

Ownership of work product depends on the engagement type:

  • Custom automations and systems — once paid in full, you own the deliverables we build specifically for your business
  • Our tools and frameworks — proprietary tools, templates, and methodologies we use to deliver our services remain our intellectual property
  • Your data — any business data you share with us remains yours at all times
  • Pre-existing IP — anything either party owned before the engagement remains theirs

Confidentiality

We take confidentiality seriously:

  • All business information you share with us is treated as confidential
  • We won't disclose your data, processes, or business details to any third party without your written consent
  • We may reference the general nature of our engagement (e.g. "AI automation for a retail business") in marketing, but never with identifying details unless you've given explicit permission
  • Confidentiality obligations survive the termination of our agreement

Limitation of Liability

While we always aim to deliver excellent results:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid for the specific engagement in question
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses (including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption)
  • AI systems interact with third-party platforms and APIs — we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service from tools we don't control
  • We provide recommendations and implementations in good faith, but business outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

  • By you — you may terminate an engagement at any time with 14 days' written notice. Fees for work already completed are non-refundable (except under our guarantee).
  • By us — we may terminate with 14 days' notice if circumstances require it. We'll refund fees for any undelivered work.
  • Immediate termination — either party may terminate immediately if the other commits a material breach that isn't remedied within 7 days of written notice.

On termination, we'll return or securely delete any of your data we hold, and provide reasonable handover support.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We'll always try to resolve any issues informally first — a conversation usually sorts things out faster than a courtroom.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let active clients know. The latest version will always be available on this page.
